Not everybody’s watching the Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir-Khairy Jamaluddin fight with intense interest.
As far as opposition Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth chief Shamsul Iskandar Mad Akin is concerned, the victor would not change anything in the party.
“So what change can any one of them bring to the younger generation on the ground? This is a battle between the son of a former prime minister and the son-in-law of the outgoing one. They are Malay elite, they are rich and famous.
Can they, in their positions, go to the ground and talk to the average youth?”
Shamsul does not expect changes from either one.
“I do not expect any change … just a change of personalites, but not to approach and strategies. Whoever wins will not affect PKR, unless that person comes from the grassroots,” he added.
